Use HEDESU MCP to Manage Knowledge Base Articles

What knowledge base tools help you do

HEDESU MCP can help your assistant work with knowledge base articles that your user account is allowed to access. It can discover categories, prepare article content, create new articles, update existing articles, archive outdated content, and search for useful references.

Recommended article flow

Ask your assistant to follow this order:

hedesu_list_spaces -> hedesu_kb_options -> hedesu_kb_create_article

This helps the assistant choose the correct workspace, category, status, and visibility before creating an article.

Create a knowledge base article

A good prompt is:

Create a customer-facing help article in HEDESU. First check my available spaces and knowledge base options, then show me the title, category, status, visibility, and content before publishing.

The assistant should:

  1. Find the spaces available to your account.
  2. Ask you to choose the right space if more than one is available.
  3. Check available categories, statuses, and visibility options.
  4. Draft the article content.
  5. Create or publish the article only after you approve the details.

For customer-facing articles, use:

  • Status: 1 for Published.
  • Visibility: 1 for Public.

For drafts, use status 0. To archive outdated articles, use status -1 or ask the assistant to archive the article.

Update or archive articles

You can ask:

  • Find articles about password reset.
  • Show me this article before editing it.
  • Update this article with the new steps.
  • Archive this outdated article.

The assistant should read the current article first, then show the proposed changes before updating it.

Add images

For images, ask the assistant to prepare an upload link first. Upload the image using the returned link, then ask the assistant to insert the returned markdown into the article content.

Do not paste image data directly into the article content.
