Set Up HEDESU MCP for Your Workspace

What HEDESU MCP helps you do

HEDESU MCP lets your approved AI assistant work with the HEDESU actions your account is allowed to use. It can help you find the right workspace, prepare ticket updates, create knowledge base drafts, and complete routine work with fewer manual steps.

Your assistant can only work within the access available to your HEDESU user account. If your account cannot view or change something in HEDESU, the assistant cannot do it for you.

What you need

Before connecting an assistant, make sure you have:

  • An approved HEDESU user account.
  • Access to the workspace you want to use.
  • Permission for the work you want the assistant to perform, such as creating tickets or managing knowledge base articles.
  • Your workspace MCP endpoint: https://{your-domain}/api/mcp.

Replace {your-domain} with your HEDESU workspace domain.

Connect your assistant

In your AI assistant or MCP client, add a new MCP connection using your workspace endpoint:

https://{your-domain}/api/mcp

Sign in with your HEDESU user account when prompted. After connecting, ask your assistant to discover your available HEDESU spaces and tools before asking it to create or update anything.

A good first prompt is:

Check which HEDESU spaces and MCP tools I can use.

Work safely

Before making changes, ask the assistant to show what it plans to do. For example:

  • Show the ticket fields you will use before creating the ticket.
  • Show the knowledge base category, status, and visibility before publishing.
  • Summarize the changes before updating the article.

When you are finished, disconnect or revoke the MCP connection from your assistant so it can no longer act on your behalf.
